		<description>What a good idea!  The actual bowl is pretty, too.  I've seen those plastic skein jars, but I like to roll my yarn.  
Crocheting straight from the skein makes me nervous about hidden tangles.  Also, if I wind it in a ball I can check out the entire length of yarn for splits, joins and frays.  Sometimes I come across a new skein practically filled with them.</description>
