It’s an old question, but a good one . . . What were your favorite books this year?
List as many as you like … fiction, non-fiction, mystery, romance, science-fiction, business, travel, cookbooks … whatever the category. But, really, we’re all dying to know. What books were the highlight of your reading year in 2007?
For now, I’m just going to post a list, I think. I might write more about this in the next week – if I ever find a moment when I’m feeling less like I’ve been sat on by elephants!
Here are some favorite books I read in 2007:
-
Salamander by Thomas Wharton
-
Sky Burial: An Epic Love Story of Tibet by Xinran

Nana, Volume 1 by Ai Yazawa (and all the other volumes out since)

I’m one of the rare ones who read Eat Pray Love and wasn’t all that impressed. I loved parts of it but overall… well, let’s just say that I would NOT read it again.
Other than that, I’m VERY impressed by your reading. I so need to read more and, as Allison says, branch out some. You inspire me.

Nana sounds really good. I’ll have to check it out in 2008. Happy BTT.
