I finished this excellent graphic novel last night and now my work of recommending it near and far begins.
If you just tuned out when I said “graphic novel”…come back! There was a time before I read graphic novels and now I have read so many funny, touching, fabulous ones…I’d never go back! Anyway, whether you’re new to graphic novels or not - give this one a try.
The book is a series of fairy-tale-esque stories, but it’s not quite what you’d expect. It’s smart, quirky, funny, insightful, and just plain awesome.
I was really sorry to see this one end. Are you out there, Linda Medley?? We need more Castle Waiting!!

Hi there,
Saw this randomly–I loved Castle Waiting. It’s an amazing collection, and the b est news is that it’s back as an ongoing series, or at least it was as of earlier this year.
