So, the challenge went out and I got on board! Or something…
Here’s the Halloween card I made:

Part of the goal was to use some of the craft supplies we amass…and then just admire, not using them. I used a few things:
1. A blank postcard base.
2. Striped paper for the backgroud.
3. I carefully cut out that pumpkin from another sheet of scrapbooking paper.
4. The little tag saying “trick or treat” is part of another sheet of paper and I hand-stamped the words with cute little letter stamps.
I waited until the last minute (since the deadline was today), but I did it and had a good time! The new card theme is “Christmas” (or, I’m sure, “winter,” “Yule,” etc.) and the new deadline is October 22nd. I’m in!
Be sure to stop by Jummy’s blog and Sherry’s blog to check out their creations, which they’ll be unveiling today!

Emma, I love your card…the colour choice in the paper as well as the “old” feel to it. You did a great job and the way you have chosen to display it for the photo was perfect..you captured the essence of Halloween!!
Glad you did this too…can’t wait to see what you come up with for Christmas/Holiday…whatever theme or religious aspect you choose to go with.
