Decent Fellow DaveP has launched a new blog all about music in the UK! Brit Music Scene
This seems like a good time for me to tell you about two groups from the UK that you should really check out. I do this completely out of the goodness of my music-loving heart.
And also because it will enter me in a contest to win a shiny prize.
Anyway!

Hank Dogs – They only have two albums, but I keep hope alive that perhaps they’ll start recording again. I just love their folky, deeply harmonized sound. It’s beautiful stuff - sometimes haunting, sometimes light and happy.

And after something pretty acoustic, here’s something quite different: Loop Guru – Try them if you’re interested in psychadelic, electronic, trance, world-beat sounds. It’s good stuff – and great cover art, too!
If you try one or both of these groups, do let me know!
